How can I make a payment?
Land of Rugs accepts all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment system. If you wish to make payment over the telephone, please contact us on 01332 294 787.
Is the site secure?
Yes. We use High-grade Encryption (AES-256, 256 bit keys) when payments are taken online. A closed padlock symbol can be seen in our address bar when you are asked to provide your payment on our payment page.
How accurate are the rug colours on the website?
Whilst we make every effort to reproduce the appearance of each rug, it is possible that the colours displayed may vary from the true colours due to photography lighting, and your computer monitor set up. Where manufacturer’s stock images are used, slight differences in colour and design are outside our responsibility.
Please note that such variation of colour is not accepted by Land of Rugs to constitute faulty goods, and we do not accept responsibility for costs incurred for returned rugs where the colour is not as portrayed on your computer screen.
When can I expect delivery?
Delivery is normally within 7 working days after your order has been placed. However, infrequently, a rug may not be in stock, in which case please allow up to 21 days. Please be aware that when despatched, your order will be in the care of our courier who will attempt to deliver between 8.00am and 6.00pm. For further details please see our delivery page.
What is the cost for a delivery?
Delivery to UK mainland is completely FREE, excluding remote parts of Scotland.
We also deliver to offshore UK mainland destinations for a small delivery charge; details can be found on our delivery page. We also offer International Delivery – the cost of this service is calculated at the checkout.
Do you carry all the rugs from your website in stock?
We endeavour to keep our collections in stock and up to date. However, infrequently we may be out of stock on a certain rug or particular size from a product range. Notwithstanding this, we place new orders daily with our suppliers, creating a healthy flow of products and ensuring our stock is frequently replenished. If you have any queries regarding product availability please do not hesitate to contact us prior to placing your order.
What is your returns policy?
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we offer a full refund on the unused product - so long as it’s returned in its original packaging and in perfect condition. When returning an item, the original packaging must be resealed with tape so that it is watertight and protected from damage during its return to us.
The product must be returned to Land of Rugs at your own expense within 7 days of receipt. We can advise you which courier to use when returning an order, and how to arrange this to reduce any inconvenience. Call us on 01332 294787 and we can talk you through this, or send us an e-mail and we can write it down for you.
We request that a note is enclosed with any product returned to us, indicating your order number and clearly stating your reason for returning the item. This will speed the refund process and will not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your refund will be applied to the debit/credit card or PayPal account that was used to place your original order. Alternatively, you may wish to use this credit to purchase another of our beautiful rugs.
You will be advised by e-mail when the credit for your returned order has been processed. This will normally be within 7 days of receipt of the returned product.
Do you have a brochure/catalogue I could look through?
Sorry but catalogues become obsolete very quickly. We regularly update our website as new ranges become available, ensuring that you have accurate information at all times. This also reduces our overheads, enabling us to pass on even more savings on our highly competitive prices.
